"Staszów Talent". Finals with prizes

Local finals of the second edition of "Talent of Świętokrzyskie Province" talent show, organized by "Echo Dnia", were held on Thursday, 20th of October, in Staszów Culture Center's performance hall. Prizes the for top three contestants were funded and given by Mayor of Staszów, Leszek Kopeć. Final performances began onstage at 4 PM. Jury comprised of three judges: Kamila Drezno - dancer, Łukasz Sobieraj - musician, and Jurek Mozolewski - film director, picked 3 best contestants, and handed two "wildcards" to runner-ups.

First place was claimed by Inter KO-7 dance group, whose members - Rusłan, Vitalij, Igor, Dima and Maks - are from Ukraine, here on a student exchange program.

The judges gave second place to music band Stip. Their performance was very well received, particularly their original song titled "Gullible". Third place went to singer Marysia Ptak, and the "wildcards" were handed to Nikodem Kuklewski (keyboard) and Natalia Nowak (vocals). The top three contestants received prizes from Mayor of Staszów Leszek Kopeć and Deputy Mayor Ewa Kondek. There was also an additional special prize: a trip funded by member of the Parliament, Beata Gosiewska, which was awarded to Natalia Nowak.

Province quarterfinals of "Talent of Świętokrzyskie" will take place in Kielce Culture Center on November 11-12. Semifinals will happen on November 25th, same location. Grand finals of the entire competition will be held on December 17th in Kielce Trade Fair Congress Center.
